Icons Woodcraft Bidinost

Falegnameria Bidinost SAS is a family-run artisan company. It was founded in 1966 by two partners, Bidinost Egidio and Zaia Danilo, starting from with the production of solid wood windows.
Later, alongside the company growth and thanks to the acquisition of new machinery and new technologies, we started manufacturing of new wood products, including some for religious purposes: benches and desks for local and missionary churches were commissioned to the company.
Years later Cesare Bidinost, Egidio's son, took over from Zaia Danilo. Since then we have grown further to provide well-known italian furniture brands with a supply of semi-finished products, still keeping up the identity and craftmanship of an artisan company.
We mainly work solid wood in various types using traditional carpentry machines and a modern PLC pantograph that is used to make particular elements.

Thanks to the experience gained, combined with adequate equipment and particular attention to detail, we specialize in the production of boards and panels for the creation of icons. In this context, we choose the wood with great attention: a compact, slightly resinous, knot-free and above all well-seasoned wood is preferred so that it can guarantee stability and offer a solid support for painting.
